About Us

We are a group of people interested in promoting Energy Alternatives. Many of the long term problems our planet will face can be solved by cheap, abundant, environmentally friendly energy. Problems such as:

• Clean safe drinking water and Hot water - via desalination and heated by Solar
• Transportation fuel (Batteries, NOT Hydrogen production or Ethanol = Bad Ideas!)
• Electricity for a variety of uses.

Even international relations can be improved via the democratization of power production around the planet. If energy is produced by everybody, it removes energy as a source of conflict.

SolarFarms is an organization dedicated to sharing information about Energy, and building Solar PV Projects in partnership with like minded people and organizations to help deliver cheap, abundant, environmentally friendly and reliable energy. Some may say that PV power is too expensive, but we say that the subsidies for fossil fuel use need to be removed because, so far, we haven't been paying the full cost of the consequences of this fuel source.

We believe that Solar Power can play a key role in the Energy mix of our planet, by providing at least 25% of our Energy Requirements in the next 20 – 30 years. Thereafter, as technology improves, we can scale it to perhaps 50% – 75% of our needs. Is this "pie in the sky"? Nope, let’s get started today and make it happen together!
