Energy has accelerated world development for the last 200+ years, but how much are we really using? What’s the breakdown? Give me some perspective! This site will cut through the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) and bring you the facts about energy! Obviously, we will also talk about alternative forms of energy, and of course, solar farming! Today, however, we will be laying some groundwork about energy, more specifically, about energy consumption by region and per capita consumption. |

Historically the United States has been the highest energy consumer and things haven't changed yet. China has eclipsed all other countries and is now the #2 consumer. As their economy continues it's rapid expansion, they will continue to approach the energy consumption of the US, and likely, someday surpass it.
