A few facts from looking at this table:
- The top 20 energy consumers represent over 75% of the planet’s energy consumption
- The top 5 energy consumers represent over 50% of the planet’s energy consumption
- Russia consumes 40% of the energy China consumes
- China consumes almost 69% of the energy the US consumes
- USA leads the world in energy consumption and represents over 20% of world energy consumption!
- Further, the US (with 4.5% of the worlds population) consumes 20% of all it's energy
